The Supreme Courtroom has stayed a Delhi Excessive Courtroom order granting divorce to movie star chef Kunal Kapur after his estranged spouse moved the highest courtroom.
A Bench of Justices Hrishikesh Roy and SVN Bhatti, whereas staying the divorce yesterday, referred the case to the Supreme Courtroom Mediation Centre for exploring the potential of settlement.
The Delhi Excessive Courtroom had granted divorce to Mr Kapur in April this 12 months on the grounds of cruelty meted out to him by his estranged spouse, saying the girl’s conduct in direction of him was “devoid of dignity and empathy.”
