CEMS-Global to Organize International Trade Expos in Dhaka from November 13 to 15

Upcoming International Trade Exhibitions: A New Era in Construction, Energy, and Water Management

From November 13 to 15, 2025, Dhaka will become a hub for innovation and collaboration as CEMS-Global USA and CEMS Bangladesh team up to host a series of international trade exhibitions at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). This significant event will focus on the construction, energy, and water sectors, promising a showcase of cutting-edge technologies and solutions.

Event Details

The trade exhibitions will be open daily from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, making it accessible for both industry professionals and the general public. Meherun N Islam, president and group managing director of CEMS-Global for the USA and Asia-Pacific, announced the details during a recent press conference at the CEMS Bangladesh corporate office.

Two Innovative Segments

The exhibitions will be divided into two distinctive segments: the Build Series and the Power Series.

  • Build Series: Featured in this segment will be the 30th Build Bangladesh International Expo 2025 and the 24th Real Estate Expo 2025. This year marks a monumental milestone—30 years of innovation and progress in the construction industry. Attendees can expect to explore a range of innovations, partnerships, and emerging technologies shaping the future of construction.

  • Power Series: Under this segment, the 27th Power Bangladesh International Expo 2025, the 22nd Solar Bangladesh International Expo 2025, and the 7th Dhaka International Lighting Expo 2025 will be highlighted. These expos aim to spotlight essential developments in power generation, renewable energy, and smart lighting technologies, which are crucial for a sustainable future.

In addition, visitors will have access to the Water Bangladesh International Expo 2025, focused on advanced solutions for water and wastewater management alongside purification technologies.

Global Participation and Impact

The exhibitions promise impressive international participation, featuring over 200 companies from more than 20 countries, including China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Turkey, the UAE, and the UK. With over 500 booths and dedicated international pavilions, these exhibitions are expected to attract more than 35,000 trade visitors.

A key highlight will be the 22nd Solar Bangladesh International Expo 2025, which will feature GIZ GmbH as its knowledge partner. GIZ Bangladesh will host a significant conference titled “Shaping Tomorrow’s Energy Workforce” on November 15, focusing on the integration of education and training in the realm of energy.

Logistics and Partnerships

The pathways to seamless participation are being facilitated by Bengal Airlift Limited, which has been designated as the official travel, courier, and cargo partner for the exhibitions. This collaboration aims to ensure that all participants have a smooth and efficient experience throughout the event.

During the press conference, several notable stakeholders were present, including SS Sarwar, group CEO of CEMS-Global USA; Tanveer Qamrul Islam, executive director; and Abhishek Das, group director of CEMS-Global. Their collective vision aims to propel the construction, energy, and water sectors towards a more sustainable and technologically advanced future.
