Spike Lee to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at the 61st Chicago International Film Festival

Iconic director Spike Lee is set to be honored at the 61st Chicago International Film Festival, the longest-running competitive film festival in North America. The announcement was made that Lee will receive the Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award during a special event titled “An Evening With Spike Lee” on Friday, October 24. This recognition celebrates Lee’s bold and visionary films that have significantly shaped and redefined American cinema.
