A Texas native, Williams played college ball at Texas Christian University (TCU), showcasing his skills as a receiver, kick returner, and more. Standing 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 222 pounds, he possesses solid measurables. At the 2025 NFL Combine, he clocked a 40-yard dash time of 4.48 seconds—impressively fast for a player of his size.
Drafted in the third round by the Packers, Williams has been gradually finding his way in the NFL. He has made key contributions over the course of his rookie season, including three catches for 22 yards in Green Bay’s tie against Dallas back in September. So far, he’s caught every pass he’s been targeted on—a small sample size, but an impressive streak nonetheless, especially through eight weeks of play.

Despite being a rookie with limited targets, Williams stands out among the Packers roster and the NFL due to his unique helmet silhouette. His helmet appears larger and puffier than those of his teammates because he wears a Guardian Cap. Originally designed for extra padding and head protection during practices, the cap is now approved for use in regular NFL games as an optional accessory for players desiring increased concussion protection.
